This book is a great peek into Amish lives. I very much appreciated their beliefs and traditions along with the strict standards and by which they live in community with each other.
This is book 3 and it's a wonderful story too. Rachel you've done it again. I loved all three books. Again if you read it you won't be sorry.
I like exploring other cultures and love the religious aspect of it. I did not care for all the ugliness of what was going on. It made me uncomfortable. Not the writers fault more mine.
This book stands alone OK, but it is probably better if you have read the previous books. It is quite short, but it is long enough to care about Rachel and John and definitely has a lot of information on Amish living worked into the story.
Interesting double-plot line, satisfactorily resolved. Most of the dialog/incidents/descriptions are believable. Edited reasonably well. Recommend to any reader who likes a sweet love story without the sex. (I assume that's why people read the "Amish" love stories.)
This was an interesting read. I've often seen the Amish around and I have always been fascinated by their lives. This book gives a bit of an insight that I hope is accurate. I think it might make them look a little too perfect because I'm sure they have their issues just like the "English" do.
Miriam has been stalked by Lance Newman in her Amish town. Now he is in jail and she
is being courted by John and the laws state that every couple date only each other.
However a new danger looms within their community as another girl yearns for John's
attention going against the courting laws. Must read.
