The writing is very unique, but very good. From the moment I started reading it, I couldn't put it down. I liked the action in the story and the way the story moved from location to location, around the world, but ended up at Mount Hoot, and then for a final showdown in Idaho. The main character, Abby Westminster is a physically athletic & mentally strong, character (educated as a volcanologist), who crosses paths with Heinz Bernhardt & his gang of the worst sort of villains we love to hate. After a few chapters that establish the back story and describe the characters, the action is non-stop, but there is enough dialogue and reactions to establish the depth of the characters. With her physical skills and a lot of luck, she manages to overcome many hardships and challenges along the way, including car, air & boat chase scenes. The overall mood is similar to a super-spy action movie with lots of international intrigue & vivid settings. What really made the story for me was the characters though. I can see this as a movie in theaters. This is a well-written, medium length book & I highly recommend it to anyone.Product details
